I cannot believe that it is already March! I feel like February simply dissolved into a pot of sickness, back pain, and moving. I kept trying to get things accomplished, but it just didn’t happen the way I wanted it to. But it was such a good thing! I had a chance to step back, prioritize, and move forward. I had an opportunity to evaluate what I want, what I need, and how to get there. It was hard, but I am so glad to be here!
This month, I realized that I have huge blogging goals and I am going to have to work my ass off to get there! I have decided that I need to make a full-time income on this blog before the end of the year or I will need to get another job. I don’t want that at all. Read more about this and all my 2017 blogging goals here.
So, in order to reach my March blogging goals, I have to put in a ton of hours on here to make that happen! I want to share with you what I have to accomplish this month to stay on track for my goals and how I plan to make this happen.
3000 Website Page Views
I am currently averaging around 1000 page views without too much effort, so I am hoping to increase this substantially. I will be writing a ton of posts this month that I will be sharing along the way. I will be using Facebook Groups to help share and grow my audience. I will be using Tailwind and Board Booster to begin sharing these posts substantially on Pinterest.
Write 35 posts
This is a ton of blog posts! In the past, I have released 1, maybe 2 posts a month. But I feel that I need a strong base of posts before I really start putting time and energy into sharing my posts. Since I have a nicheless blog, I have a different amount of content needed to fill up my blog. I will be writing 5-6 posts into each main category I blog about. I will be writing a post about how I accomplish this, but my plan
I will be writing a post about how I accomplish this, but my current system is as follows
- Brain dump as many blog post ideas as I can think of | DONE (~20 minutes in OneNote)
- Choose 42 different blog post ideas (extra) | DONE (~1 hour)
- Input each idea into a post draft on WordPress and write basics of what I want to say | DONE (this took longer than I thought it would. But it is saving me time now. ~8 hours)
- Write, write, and write some more | started (so far ~4 hours)
- Create Images for posts 2x a week
- Mass post the posts, I won’t be scheduling these (unless I end up with more than 35)
- Automate posts
- Share the shit out of them!
200 Facebook Likes
2 Facebook lives
I will be sharing my facebook on several Facebook groups specifically for blogger and mommy bloggers. I will also be making it really easy to share and connect to my facebook on my blog and YouTube. My Facebook Lives should help with my Engagement, as well as sharing more content in general, which goes back to writing more posts and sharing them.
500 Instagram followers
I will be posting images daily starting this week. I will also be intentionally following and commenting on people’s images who are within the categories I share. My Instagram will probably be aimed towards the lifestyle/mommy side of my blog.
Pinterest followers: 1000
Average Monthly viewers: 80,000
Join 20 10K+ group boards
I will be adding people intentionally on Pinterest, pinning things from people within my categories and engaging with them. I will also be posting a lot more, which should innately help. I am also on the search of 20 10K+ group boards that I can join.
Reach 500 YouTube Subscribers
Release 8 videos
Reach 100,000 Views
100 Videos in playlists
Posting more videos will definitely help with this number. I also will be sharing my videos intentionally on my social media and connecting it to my blog posts. So I am hoping this will happen naturally, but we will have to see. Growing a YouTube channel is the thing I know the least about.
I actually have no income goals for March. If I make money, great. But I want to focus on getting things set up so that I can have people to sell to and have a strong basis for new readers. I will be posting some affiliate posts and inevitably share the ones I already have. So, while income is welcome, it is not expected this month.
Mid-Month Update | There is a part of me that doesn’t think I will meet a few of these goals this month, purely because I have lost a large portion of my month due to an awful cold. I lost my voice which put my YouTube goals behind. I realized that I have to change my mentality. Instead of thinking “I have lost so many days”, I need to think “I still have x amount of days left to reach my goals”.
However, I am pushing through. I am very excited about the possibilities that lie before me.

Peace and Love,
